Tips for saving electricity at home
This means that you have to face higher costs of light and electricity without consuming too much.
For this reason we present a few tricks so you can lower consumption and save a few euros in the light bill.
- Replace traditional light bulbs. Replace halogen lamps with low-energy bulbs or led. It's going to be a fairly expensive initial investment, but you'll pay them off well before their useful life ends.
- Unplug electronics appliances whenever possible. Turn off everything you are not using when you go to sleep. Laptops, televisions, routers, boilers, etc.
- Turn off the lights. Try not to leave lights on whenever you leave a room. This gesture can mean a great saving during the year.
- Wash with short programs and cold water. Use programs that last a short time and can be with cold water.
- Lower the power of the refrigerator to a minimum. We usually have food from the refrigerator too cold. You should regulate the power and avoid having the door open for long.
