The young rent voucher

Who can apply for the young rent voucher?

• You must be thirty-five years old or under.
• Be the holder of the rental contract for the rented dwelling or room.
• You must be registered on the census and live in the dwelling for which the assistance is requested.
• Have a regular income of a maximum of 24,301.51 euros per year and be up-to-date with payments.

What limits are there to the price of rent? (Depending on the area where you live, there are different limits).

Regarding the rent of a whole flat:

• Metropolitan area of Barcelona (Baix Llobregat, Barcelonès, Maresme, Vallès Occidental, Vallès Oriental): 900 euros.
• Rest of the Barcelona area and Girona area: 650 euros. Demarcation of Lleida, Tarragona and Terres de l'Ebre: 600 euros.

And if in your case, it is only one room:

• Metropolitan area of Barcelona (Baix Llobregat, Barcelonès, Maresme, Vallès Occidental, Vallès Oriental): 450 euros.
• Rest of the Barcelona area and Girona area: 350 euros. Demarcation of Lleida, Tarragona and Terres de l'Ebre: 300 euros.

What is the amount of the aid?

The aid is a maximum of 250 euros per month. And you can have it for two years!

How can I apply for it?

To apply for the aid, you can do it in person at the local offices or telematically in the procedures section of the Generalitat's website.
