- Differentiate the dining room. If the dining room and living room share space, the best way to differentiate them is by painting the walls in two completely different colors. For example, if the dining room is blue, paint the living room yellow.
- Vertical stripes stylize and horizontal ones widen, will give the impression that the ceiling is moving away, while horizontal stripes will allow you to visually gain width.
