How do I know the best color to paint the interior of my house?

When we ask different people about their favorite color, each can have a different answer: "I like blue," "I love dark green," "I always liked black," "when I was a child, I loved pink, now I like purple more." But, on many occasions, our favorite colors would not combine well on the walls of our home.

The color of the walls is not a decision taken lightly, because despite having to comply with our tastes and preferences, it will have to adapt to the dimensions and characteristics of the space, choosing a color that favors your space.
Colors play an essential and very important role in our emotions, so we're going to talk about color psychology and what these can communicate to us.
·      Green: this color became a trend after confinement, because it evokes nature and was something we all missed during this time, which is why many have moved to the green team, because in addition to evoking nature is also a very nice color and causes relaxing effects.
·      Yellow: a very creative and original color, suitable if your intention is the transmission of joy and warmth.
·      Blue: choosing a clear shade can bring us peace and confidence, providing us with good vibrations and positivity. We recommend a clear blue for bedrooms.
·      Red: consider this color your direct enemy if what you want is a nice, placid space, because it can cause passion and excitement and, because of that, can accelerate the heart rate. It is therefore not recommended for rooms for concentration and relaxation such as bedrooms.
·      Black: it can help to increase the depth of a space and provide elegance, but this color can evoke negative feelings, although in some people can cause a relaxing effect.
·      White: this color can bring cleanness and clarity to your house. It is a very neutral color that can bring us calm, but in the case of very large spaces, white can provoke apathy.
·      Gray: like black, it can be very cold and off, but with the right combinations this color can transmit serenity, a needed emotion to have at home.

The combination of these colors can be disastrous or prove to be the best decision to decorate your home. We recommend some combinations and what they can transmit:
·      An orange touch to bring power and warmth: it is usually suitable for spaces such as the kitchen, though it is not recommended for rooms such as the hall or bedroom. It may also be a good decision for a study.
·      Green tonalities to provide light: different shades of green can give a sense of large, open space and coolness. Light green is a perfect shade for a large and/or luminous house, because it breaks with monotony, adds joy and, as we have already said, wraps the house in the tranquility that nature conveys to us.
·      Blue tones combinations: blue tonalities and similar colors, such as violet and their different shades, can be elegant and add many possibilities if what you want is a colorful decoration.
·      Pastel shades: pastel shades are usually always right, because they can evoke youth, versatility and fun. They provide clarity, like white, but with more energy.
·      White and grey for a pleasant space: the combination between the natural stone color and white can have a very positive effect. In addition, a perfect combination of earth colors, brown and orange colors in household tissues can be a good option. Broken white can be a great ally if the decoration of your house is based on dark wood, because it gives a sense of a bigger space.
·      Ground tonalities and white, always fashion: the combination of these two colors with different shades has always been in fashion, because they are colors that combined do not tire and give a lot of freedom to choose decorative styles and possibilities.
