Rental as an option to obtain a home

Rentals have always been a minority option in Spain and, although in recent years these have increased, we are still far from the figures presented by other countries in Europe, where the majority of the population does not consider having an owned house as an option because they prefer to pay a monthly fee for the rental of a space that becomes their home.

What are the advantages of living for rent?

Like everything, living for rent has its pros and cons. We explain here some of its advantages:

• • It's an ideal choice for those people who are not rooted in a place and often need to change residence.
• • The expenses are more controlled, since the monthly payment stipulated in the current contract must always be the same.
• • The costs of the structural maintenance of the property are borne by the owner.
• • Provides flexibility to terminate the contract and leave the house in case of any unforeseen circumstance.
