How will the houses of the future be?

1.jpg

We live in a globalized world, so it is not surprising that the homes of the future are sustainable, but also fully technological. The whole home will be automated and appliances will be interconnected to mobile devices or smart bracelets that will tell you, for example, when you have left the faucet open or when the washer is finished.

The home automation, now reserved for the most privileged, will be universal: the lighting will adapt automatically to sunlight and the presence of people, as well as awnings, blinds and curtains will be closed or open depending on the lighting conditions.

A building with photocatalytic technology will be able to remove almost 90% of the contaminating particles, as well as remove inorganic gases.

A clear example of the great advance in futuristic architecture: at the beginning of the year, teams of Spanish scientists were able to create antiallergic houses thanks to a material that is capable of destroying pollen.

Another clear example of the use of science to improve the quality of life is the recent discovery made by researchers from the School of Engineers of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia: the creation of a concrete that becomes a wall of vegetation and which will be able to reduce the CO2 of the atmosphere as well as absorb the maximum sunlight to keep the building warm.

So, once again, science and technology come together to create perfect cities, more like movies and novels than real life. Are you ready to live in a totally technological building?
