Do I have to pay taxes for my empty apartment?
From Agenthia we want to provide you with the five requirements for a home to generate an imputed real estate income:
- Urban assets that are not subject to economic activities: Leave out all empty homes (offices, garages) that you can use as work, for example, being autonomous.
- Rustic properties: Those that are not essential for the development of agricultural or forestry explanations.
- Non-built land: buildings under construction or properties that are not susceptible to use for urban reasons.
- Properties that aren't your habitual residence: It is a measure to encourage the rental of empty flats or houses.
- Properties that don't generate a return on capital: Let's say that the home should not be rented or its use for usufruct given.
As we can see, a property owned house generates a series of fiscal obligations and responsibilities when taxing real estate assets. Even so, we must remember that the payment of personal income tax is always mandatory.
