We demystify the problems of the plants inside the rooms

The idea of sleeping with plants in the bedroom has created debates about its effects on health. Some argue that plants in the room may be harmful, especially in terms of air quality and oxygenation at night.

However, it is time to demystify this belief. One of the most common myths is that plants, like humans, consume oxygen at night, which could decrease the amount of oxygen available in the room. Although it is true that plants perform cell respiration, the impact is minimal. The amount of oxygen they consume is much lower than the amount they produce during the day through photosynthesis.

The reality of sleeping with plants, is even contrary, they bring quite a lot of benefits such as:
1. Air purification, since many plants are able to filter air pollutants, improving the quality of the environment.
2. Soothing effect: the presence of plants can be reassuring.
3. Increased humidity: Plants release water vapor through a process called transpiration, which can increase humidity in the air. It can be beneficial in dry environments.

Then, we show that plants really do not have to be harmful to our sleep quality.
